Yeah so I kinda made a new blog, but this time I got back up! So it'll have real honest weekly updates!

We promise not only Tuesday and Thursday posts, but the occasional cyber novella update AND all new, all different Fugitives From Reality 2.0 webcomic!

I've learned alot from managing this red-headed step child of a blog along with the smackjeeves comic site and moderative a forum, so i've pooled all those lessons into running my own damn blog. WITH HELP!

Fugitives From Reality: Conclusion

I've decided to conclude Fugitives From Reality with Episode 50. After a year of doing a hurriedly slapped together photocomic about the WUMB, on a more or less weekly basis, I've gathered enough know-how and studied the trends, etc etc... and decided to end this Wizard Universe Message Board version of Fugitives From Reality.

Some of the things I've learned:

- Feedback from fellow WUMBers has been pretty good, many liking some of the strips, few disliking the whole comic altogether.

- Non-WUMBers didn't understand most of the in-jokes, natch. So many of the comics were hit or miss.

- You can't please everyone if you slowly cast people you know into the comic. At some points I was receiving 1 to 2 requests a week to be put in the comic.

- Social commentary in webcomic form is very funny.

- I received more hits from my webcomic's page than from the Wizard Message boards.

- Non-North American visitors would contact me to purchase my figures! (note to self: hook up with sponsors!)

- And finally, Az's Bearfighting gag transcended in-joke barriers. A big chunk of my unique hits were for strips featuring Az's comedic appearances.

Anywho, so Episode 50 will be it for the focus on the Wizard Universe Message Board. Expect Episode 50 to big the longest FFR episode EVAR. And April 1st is the relaunch date for "Volume II" of Fugitives From Reality.

Big Pimpin': Panels On Pages!

It looks like a Ka-Tet of Wizard Universe Columnists and Message Board members have banded together to create an whole new comics, movies, collectibles, general nerdery/geekery site called Panels on Pages! or PoP!

DC Direct/eBay: Update

UPDATE: Well it appears its out of production with Diamond Distributors, so the eBay seller offered to exchange the figure for me. I declined and dremelled and glued her knee back in place. So she's on display now. Ah well... at least I won a FRICKEN Spider-Man Classics KB exclusive SCARLET SPIDER on eBAY!

Hope that goes better than this last figure purchase!

Okay so a few weeks back I won an eBay auction a Batman: Knightfall Catwoman figure. This is like my dream figure as its my 90's Jim Balent purple catsuit and liquid black opera gloves and thigh high booted Catwoman. The Catwoman I grew up on, crushed on, and thoroughly ingrained my catgirl fetish.

As you can see, if you clicked the linky, I got an excellent deal as most other sites want to charge double what DJ's Collectible Shoppe charged me. Well as you can see from the date I paid and when I won the auction there was quite a wait, almost two weeks, as I kinda forgot that I still needed to pay for it as I was caught up with finals, graduation, Thanksgiving, and what not being my last semester and all of college.

So I remembered, I messaged DJ, and I paid up right quick. BAM! A few hours later I get a message that all is good and that the figure would be going out ASAP.

HUZZAH!

So I get the figure a few days later, and then yesterday I message him that I left positive feedback and am most happy with my figure. Then about an hour ago I opened her. I take great pains to carefully free her from the twist ties and the packaging.

And she's INCREDIBLE, I already know NOT to do a Marvel Legends/DC Universe Classics articulation test on DC Directs or Marvel Selects, but I go to bend her elbows to pose her.

All is well.

I go to bend her knees. Right knee is awesome. Left knee...

All is crap.

Apparently her left knee, not attached too well as its barely hanging by the back attachment. I'm not a violent man but I wanted to punch someone really hard... with my foot.

So far of my DC Direct purchases I'm 2 for 4 for them breaking straight out of the packaging. I've bought an 18 dollar Infinite Crisis OMAC from Hot Topic. His right leg broke off 2 minutes out of package, I was marvelling at his points of articulation when

The gorgeous translucent leg is now seperate from his gorgeous translucent body. It was like the plot to a freaky ass Anime. I spent 4 hours the first time attempting to repair his leg by gluing it in place only for it to break AGAIN when he took a nose dive off my shelf simultaneously breaking his head fin off. I spent 2 hours, with a dremel, repairing his leg with a screw and now its fully poseable once again. The Fin, not so much. Its attached but doesn't flex with the spine section of the fin. Gah.

My second DC Direct purchase was a First Appearance Jaime Reyes Blue Beetle, that sucker is like a rock. Invincible, almost. I love it.

My Third DC Direct purchase a Green Lantern Series 1 Star Sapphire. Gorgeous, super limited poseablity, but no breaky.

My Fourth DCD purchase is this Knightfall Catwoman and 2 minutes out of package, even under tender lovin' care. She was already broke.

*Sigh*

I also own a JSA Series 1 Power Girl, and Infinite Crisis Power Girl, Identity Crisis Deadshot, and Superman Last Son Bizarro but those were either traded for, purchased loose, or given to me as a gift. All of them great condition, their articulation points perfect, no breaky breaky.

*Double Sigh*

So I decided to check the packaging for customer service info, NUFFIN. So I check the damn DC Direct website, and straight from their FAQ:

How Can I Replace Or Fix A Broken Product?
You can bring the item back to the retailer that you purchased it from, so they can take up the matter with the Diamond Distributors customer service representative. DC Direct is not equipped to respond to requests to repair broken items or ship replacement parts.

Great.

This was a fricken EBAY PURCHASE. So I decide "screw it" I'll check Diamond Distributor's website. Well I learn that I'm leading Jack and Shit and Jack got a sex change.

Wunderbar!

So as a last resort I messaged DJ, in the hopes that maybe, just maybe we can work something out. He gave me a HECKUVA deal on the figure, about 5 bucks less than normal retail for a DCD (in spite of the shipping charge). So I basically said in the message:

"Hey, the figure broke straight outta the package, and I tried to handle a customer service thing on my own but came up bupkiss on both ends and I'm outta ideas. So I'm asking you hopefully that it won't be too much trouble and cost us both too much time and money. But if it is gonna cost us both alot of time and money to get it replaced I'll simply glue it because you gave me a sweet deal and were super stand up about the 2 weeks late payment thing.

Cool Toy Review: Back during San Diego, it was announced that there would be a series of action figures 2-packs available on MattyCollector.com. When will the DCUC exclusive 2-packs be available, and aside from Adama Strange & Starfire, who will they be? Any hints?

Mattel: The Adam Strange/Starfire pack will be out at the very end of 2008. We will announce a date in November when we roll out the brand specific pages on MattyCollector.com. As for future packs, look for one to have someone with Kryptonian powers.

SHT: There's mixed feelings regarding the new DCU: Infinite Heroes line. While many fans are impressed with the smaller 3 3/4" scale figures, some wonder about the need for a new line with the 7" DC Universe Classics as well as the 3 3/4" JLU figures still on shelves. What was the original inspiration for the line and what does the DCU: Infinite Heroes line bring to fan's collections the other two series can't? The addition of vehicles and/or playsets would obviously help justify fan reasoning to purchase and begin collecting this new series...

MATTY: Ahh, what a question. Originally, the line was actually conceived as something very different and due to many organic factors in the toy making process it became a kick butt 3 ¾ line. It was created to help army-build the DC Universe. While in the DCUC line fans will get highly detailed fully articulated figures, and in the JLU line fans will get animated versions of characters, only in the Infinite Heroes line will fans get an entire army in the palm of their hands including soldiers, flunkies and warriors in addition to the main characters.

This line also allows the characters of the DC Universe to stand toe to toe with other 3 ¾ toy lines. 6" and 3 ¾" are the main leaders in collectable toy line scales today and we wanted to make sure fans could find both scales at retail. Also, if sales do take off, we hope to add vehicles to this line which is much better suited due to the scale and the cost of producing and selling vehicles.

And finally, if you look carefully, some clever fan will be able to figure out what artist helped develop the line and where the inspiration came from...

RTM: Is Mattel aware that Target is "green-tagging" DCUC returns? As in, once they are marked with a green tag, they can not be resold.

MATTEL: We are aware of this, but toy fans should know that once a product leaves Mattel's distribution center, it is in the hands of our retail partners. How they treat returns is entirely up to them. We don't set rules and regulations. If you are unhappy with how a retail store is handling returns, please let them know!

Having a hard time getting to sleep these days... I don't know why.

Had a crazy ass dream the other night, it was so vivid, so real. It was just ... wicked.

Started out with me coming home from the office, I stop over at this woman's home, her kitchen specifically and we talk, I don't remember the conversation. When I'm leaving the news on the television set mentions warships are coming into US waters.

I don't remember actually getting home, but I do remember getting into my apartment building with a pack of my neighbors all in a tizzy yelling at my sister who apparently also just got home from work. Looks like we live together for some reason.

Anywho, she freaks and shuts the front door as I walk up to the angry neighbors. They tell me this batshit craziest thing in the world. And this is a direct quote from the dream:

"Hey, we live here and we made a deal with this spirit you see. We're just trying to get by and this evil spirit lives here and we made a damn deal. Then you come in here and don't do nothing. And now its gone alls polergeist on our ass. We're just trying to get by, trying to live here. Whatchu' gonna do?"

Crazy, I tell you.

So I open the front door, let myself in, and as I shut it I say "I work too hard to give a rats ass." And I slam the door in their faces.

I kid you not. Onward with the dream retelling, God it was a weird one.

So I'm in my apartment, more of a swanky ass condo with a flat screen on the wall, nice little kitchen going on, and for some reason I'm barefoot and the carpet feels like a bed. Good times. I mean it, its a helluva job I have if I can afford this.

My sister is on the couch curled up with the blanket she's had since she was a baby. This small threadbare pink and white blanket my mother bought her for her first christmas. Had a large drawing of a panda on it for some reason. Anywho, she's sitting on the couch, curled up all cozy watching like CNN and there is an image of the coastline and this big battleship is coming up fast on the coast. Deck guns out and all that good stuff.

I shrug and all of a sudden...

BOOM-THOOM!

What the hell was that?

BOOM-THOOM!

Again.

BOOM-THOOM!

Its louder now, I look outside. I realize I'm about 20 stories up, beautiful view of the coast. Something on the TV makes me think that the battleship is possibly one from our own fleet. Something about uranium tipped shells.

BOOM-THOOM!

Its even louder and as I'm staring out the window, and we're damn near the coastline as I can see the shells landing in and detonating in the bay now.

The whole building rocks from the explosions as ...

BOOM-THOOM!

Another two shells HIT THE FRICKEN CITY. I freak, I jump into this half crouched pose ready to run and I hold my hand out to my sister and yell "We GOTTA GET OUTTA HERE!"

She looks at me, not quite trusting me, as we've had alot of turmoil between us these last 5 years. And yet we live together for some reason.

BOOM-THOOM!

I'm still staring at her as the double detonation rocks the entire building even more violently.

WE GOTTA GET OUTTA HERE, DAMMIT!

She gets up so slow and nonchantly, leaving her blanket behind, only to stop and slowly head back to pick it up... fold it, and put it under her arm, like when she was little. She finally takes my hand and...

I wake up.

My heart is racing. Turns out my heart was beating so hard and so loud that the sound of the shelling was actually my own heartbeat. Lub-dub. Lub-dub. I had an urge to simply leap out of bed, and I'm a pretty heavy guy, and just take on whatever was coming for me.

I did some breathing exercises and was able to get back to bed. But damn if that didn't stick with me. So bright so vivid. Like a nightmare in IMAX.

And now here I am, the next night and I do not wish to relive this nightmare, but sleep I must.

Smackdown to Secret Crisis is A-go!

I just sent off the newest script to Episode 43 to Astro13Zombie (aka Astro, the Blue Halo Spartan), who's going to give me a thumbs up or down on whether he can animate a panel or two of this episode.

After that I shoot the comic, photoshop it, then send him the panel or panels to be animated.

Then I put it up.

No more trying to meet a set deadline, now the comics will come out once a week starting next week.

I ran my usual biweekly check on the stats for the webcomic site and on the blog here and some of the search terms run the gamut from "loosecollector esteemed" to "twisted kaiju theater cloverfield", odd but hey whatever gets me hits baby!

But dudes (and dudettes) there are pervs on the loose and I have no idea how "ruby rocket xxx" got someone to my blog! Yes one post featured adult photo starlet Angela White and another post featured the burlesque performer and professional cosplayer/booth babe Ruby Rocket but nowhere in my posting did I ever consider (aloud) Ruby in any pornographic situation nor imply it.

She's just a comic nerd's (straight men/lesbians/bi-peeps/fetishists) dream woman.

Anywho, there was only ONE hit for ruby rocket xxx but I assure you she's an upstanding, good hearted individual whom doesn't need the quick cash or cheap thrills of triple x photography, tyvm.

You can see my recent review in the box below this logo on the right hand side of the blog. I try to make each and every actual review... reviewy and entertaining but sometimes I just get in this zone where I just get down to the nitty gritty of (this sucks move on, or this rocks buy three 'cause grandma ain't gettin' any younger!).

Each review/wishlist item is linked to the appropriately priced (ie cheapest) deals I can find on them (if the price seems kinda higher than what you can google either the site revised the price or I factored in the shipping cost and it was cheaper by at least a few bucks. I'm a stickler.)

I got up at 8am saturday morning to go figure hunting. I got back home around 315 only to head off to work at 430. Then I worked 5 to midnight with no breaks or lunch, only to get back home at 1230 after being yelled at by drunks and drugged up truck drivers.

Anywho, feet pain aside (I got work at 5 again until 11 this time, so since Sundays are slow days I'll proly get a break and not have to eat standing up), in my figure hunting I pretty much just bought a First Appearance Blue Beetle figure from Hot Topic, which is having a half off the clearance price sale. Got him for like 4.32 with tax.

Plus the day before that I picked up a Palisades Toys/SOTA House of the Dead Ken, which is surprisingly alot more articulated then he appears to be in package.

Ooh I also picked up some rare earth magnets so I can finally properly fix up the swappable heads of my Red Hood/Jason todd custom.

Oh sweet tiny jeebus Wizard Entertainment apparently fired longtime employee and Executive Editor, Brian Cunningham. Not only did he run Wizard Magazine he also oversaw the sister publications of Toyfare, Anime Insider, the now defunct Inquest, and Wizard Edge.

He also helped revitalize the Wizard universe message boards (aka the WUMB). Though I bought sparse issues of Wizard and Inquest I am a longtime Toyfare subscriber, and member of the WUMB. So his departure is a blow to me personally.

Oy, I hope he does well in his future endeavours and I hope to sexually harass him and poke at him online in the future...

A new comic is coming, I finally got some ideas together but I'm also in the process of helping out one Ms. Corgan get her shit together as she keeps changing her damn mind about a new series she wants to write.

... I have this deep-gut feeling that nothing really matters anymore. Its kinda surreal, really. Its a littler hard to express this feeling without sorta cracking open my memory and pouring things out that I don't exactly want on the internet in any shape or form.

I've done things I'm not proud of, and things I have done that I should be proud of I'm not because they're somehow inexorably tainted by the unproud things. I'm not as good a person as people hold me out to be. I am and not the summation of my zodiac symbol. I am not my Father. Although at times I seem to be more like my Mother.

Unnatural compulsion to do the wrong thing at the wrong time. Tricked myself into thinking I've gotten better, getting better. How can I still be 9? How do I think I can go back to that time almost 20 years ago.? I remember being 9 and already wishing I could go back and start things over.

Now that I think about it all this kind of lines up. Guess I was alot more sensitive to what was going on at home at the time then memory leads me to believe. The only time my Dad ever cried was one Christmas when my Mother gave him a stereo, first time he actually ever was gifted something not out of obligation or spite but out of love. The next time it was because he found out I was screwing up so bad at school and I had no reasonable answer for him.

That was like 13-14 years apart.

Been so insulated over the years, I pretend to lament not having friends, not having money, not having a brother. But only to realize I am solitary. I actively decided not to pursue girls in high school and women in college. There was always strings attached to any friendship I had... its why I had less than fingers on one hand.

Find myself writing about the misery of others. Sure they're outlandish and fantastic, but the characters are miserable. No notion of heroics in their deeds, its always out of survival. I write no heroes... only victims of circumstance. I torture and degrade them almost out of sheer disregard for humanity entirely. And people laud this.

Seem to crave a mind numbing life so I don't have to think or act, just react. Can't sit around and do nothing but can't balance work politics and a social life either. Too much intermingly, this I learned from life at my first long term job.

Not meant for this world, I trust and distrust. Playful and serious. Curiosity versus efficency. I am self defeat.

Is it Dr. Faustus or Trent Reznor, I ask myself. What did it that brought about today. No, its myself. My utterly bemused - bemoaned attitude. I put things off, only showing ingenuity when I have no other recourse but to succeed or fail spectacularly. Blaming all else but myself. Fault in relationships, family, school, works, others, but never myself, unless its only myself in earshot.

How can I overcome this spiral? The drain swirl of existence? When everything is out to pull me down, including myself? Become exactly what I dislike. Slothful, undynamic, full of greed and spite. Loving not even myself. No Devil's pact. No connected friends to cling unto.

Does it even matter that I didn't flinch or really care for the last 7 years of events that have impacted the country? Of course not, I'm here. They were there. Never flown. The microwave reminded me for 7 years at least once a day until it was moved at out casual sight. I lament that move more than the event. The colon flashing between the numbers. Numbers that mean nothing to me but everything to thousands upon thousands.

I get that feeling that I'm horrible, just like when I used to wonder if I was racist for my harsh dislike of black penis in the pornography I'd view. How does that equate? Visual pornography and national tragedy? Let alone the scary idea that I care none for a single one of the candidates spending half a billion to be turned from dark hair to snow-on-top in less than 4 years.

Yes, interracial pornography, terrorism, and decisions haunt my thoughts. At a time when reality on television is ad-libbed less than what passes for quality commercial riders.

I'm challenged in my courses this semester. My British literature class, the one I should not have had to take, in particular. I can do the work. I'm doing it right now, in my way. But damn if its not cutting it close. Hoping the situation of time will cause him to break and accept what I give him. I live on the razors edge, its almost exhilarating. I hadn't had heartburn for 15 years until recent. Thats something.

Fear of Success? Its what my training and studies scream out to me at the moment. And I doubt it all... in spite of all the lauded intelligence and "potential" (yes potential, that word is giving me a burning sensation in my throat right this very instant).

The 80's and 90's education system was stocked high with bullshit. So very high, in the sky. Slogans, keywords, phrases, patterns, bubbles, and graphs. Memories and television and movies taught me what a classical education was. Never received one. Versed in the fine art of consumerism. Fit my stereotype and run with it.

Fought it.

Failed it?

Live up to it, maybe.

Lazy, uncaring, self absorbed, consumer minded. Jingles, Simpsons' quotes, pop trivia. That remains.

Waste.

But never wasted.

No drugs. No drinking. No sex. No violence.

Swearing. Pilfering. Lying. Machiavelli would be proud. So-so, Sun Tzu.

I'm why my Dad married my Mom. Mom swears she could raise me alone, intended. Dad stayed because of his own upbringing. Father to his child. Not abuser to his burden.

Everything half finished in life for me. Not man, not even half a child.

I wear a mask, everyday, to everyone. When I used to talk aloud I felt both alone and together. Don't anymore, everyone tells me I'm better this way. No, everyone really means to say they are made to feel better this way. I'm still alone.

Wonder what life alone would really feel like?

No pets, no family. Just myself, nothing to my back. Thats the scariest sensation of all. When in a game and I have no wall to my back. Exposed, open space, threats possible from any direction but none clear nor present. Just the... potential.

Fear. The mind-killer. Fear lives while I have a wall to my back. While I sloth through life with support.

How would one survive without support? I hear about people struggling with their lives, but independent. Doing what needs to be done. And here I jabber on about lies and manipulation to keep myself forever half-child when full-children many years my junior lie strewn on strange lands the education system never prepared them to even spell.

Should I go? No support but a spot of training and then shoulder to shoulder with people who'd kill for my oppurtunities? Who are killing to survive so they can have a chance at a life I often, inside my mind as to not speak aloud, fear to assume. Sexless, escape-less, half-child.

No abuse. No torture. Only lazy somewhat genius drowning in self doubt and memories of poverty. Victim to apathy and socio-economic-geopolitical machinations of a malevolent force of pride rooted in the hearts of people who wish me the fortune to work for them or hold a rifle and take the first hit.

What is life? What is purpose?

God.

Kids These Days... No Respect

Okay so I finally got around to opening up a trade package from a kid from the Figure Realm trading forum. I sent the kid a Mint Marvel Legends Series 6 Jean Grey Phoenix figure, fresh out of the package. He sent me the Upper and Lower torso pieces to the Galactus build-a-figure.

Well I got it hard in the puckered star, Galactus pieces are all kinds of screwed up Missing paint, paint rub, paint chips, nicks, scratches, paint transfer, he really stuck it to me. So I contacted him and pointed this out, and he told me I was screwed and had gotten rid of my Phoenix and thats that.

I traded in good faith a rare, hard to find figure for a pair of hard to find BAF pieces. This irks me to no end his response so flippant, so I took some photos to show him the damage and here they are:

He gave the excuse they were "fine when I sent them off". Yeah he shipped them in a far too big box loose with each other so they can knock around and rub and all that good stuff, plus the joints as you can see have major paint rub and chips from its previous owners and the pegs where they slot into the different body parts have major wear where this Galactus was dissambled, which they're not meant to do (says so on the instructions, once assembled its permament) apparently they didn't read that.

So I'm waiting on the kids response. If he dicks me over I already notified an administator about this but haven't gone "public" with it on the boards.

Anywho, I've got finals next week so comics might slow down for the next few days, which is why I did so many this past week.

Do you know how hard it is to get a single figure to not only stand up right but to stay in the exact pose you want it to remain in? Okay now multiply that by a dozen. Then to compensate for gravity, angle, lighting, grouping, and weak ankle joints. And finally making sure everyone comes out clearly in at least 5 different photos out of the 2 dozen you took in different lighting arrangements.

Seriously, its damn hard work, sure its fun but damn I only sweat like this when I've been standing around in 100 degree summer days or when Tetris gets the best of me.

New Marvel Legends

Okay so Hasbro has decided to hold back on cramming craptacular waves of cool idea Marvel Legends down our throats for a few months so they can get their proverbial shit together and put out great figures instead of plastic bits that kinda go together. So to celebrate I'm going to show you a few of their display pieces in what I'd like to call... "Good Ideas, Bad Idea". Here I'll give you 2 or 3 examples of good ideas they came up with and then a bad idea that sucks so hard it negates up to 2 of the good ideas they came up with leaving us with 1 or 0 goods. Karma's a bitch.

Good Idea: Black Costume Spider-Man, McFarlane Spider-Man, and Iron Armor Spider-Man

Bad Idea: Aquaman Spider-Man (Even Aquaman doesn't want to be Aquaman, we can all blame Mephisto, right? RIGHT? F*** you, Hasbro.)

Good Idea: Cool Variants of Iron Armor Spider-Man and 1st Appearance Daredevil

Bad Idea: 3 Shitty Iron Man Movie Figure Variants (Sure Captain America Armor Iron Man was cool as a cover pic but a simple paint job and a spare Cap Shield, F*** you, Hasbro! I can buy 2 shades of nail polish for less than 3 dollars and do the same shit with my MarkIII movie iron man.)

Good Idea: 1st Appearance She-Hulk, Super-poseable Spiral, and Nova.

Bad Idea: TRANSFORMER SPIDER-MAN... (I can't say this enough, F*** you, Hasbro. Seriously. Marvel Megamorphs failed because it was idiotic. Toybiz didn't get it right and neither will you. Focus on more kick ass stuff like the Spider-Man and Friends line or a damn Marvel Versus Capcom 2 line or something. Jeez.)

Okay Hasbro, I thank you right here and now for going back to formula on the Marvel Legends, sure Toybiz had their pegwarmers but it was maybe 1 to 2 figures ala Onslaught Series Pyro and Lady Deathstrike or Series IV Beast, but damn guys... when I can walk up to the toy aisle and build Blob about 4 times and find a variant every now and then without trying thats just colossal failure.

Anywho, I look forward to breaking a 20 every couple of days on the "Good Idea" stuff in the fall.

Jimmy Palmotti and Amanda Conner are half of the 4 person creative/art team behind this series starring the Maiden of Might. The writers promise a healthy balance of wham-bam action, a big Rogue's Gallery, and of course scads of humor.

Amanda Conner promises this and this and more of this.

I promise you I'm getting a subscription as soon as DC makes it super-humanly possible.

Dammit, today been sucking since like 1am. First I insult a stranger in a chat. Second it took me until 6am to fall asleep. And now I wake up and find myself to have been negatively feedbacked on Amazon.com.

On my gmail e-mail account alot of automated or form emails go to spam. Spring Break, while a lazy time for me, I still had alot of hubub to deal with my family and what not. So this asshole messages me during spring break to tell me their galactic heroes figures didn't show up. I don't get the message. About 4 days later they message me again through the amazon automated system. Nothing. Apparently like 24 hours after that they file an A to Z claim. I don't get that message either.

Hal the time I don't even know when something sells until I check the account, and the account doesn't tell me when someone is attempting to contact me. And I'll tell you this much I get ALOT of scam/spam/phishing emails related to Amazon.

Anywho, long story short I check the account, check the A to Z claim. I head to the post office and harass them for a couple hours while I force them to check the rooms to see if any packages were misplace (they've done it to my packages before) I also get them to call the buyer's PO to see if its arrived yet or it was set aside or misplaced. They show nothing in their system.

All I got from the post office was that its "in transit" and thats it.

So I tell the buyer I apologize these things happen, explain the email thing and I refund IN FULL, INCLUDING THE SHIPPING. So not only am I OUT the stupid figures but I'm out of wasted bubble wrap, a good box, and the money I paid in shipping. And get this I sold it for 8.99 I paid 5.77 for it. Its not like I'm trying scam them or something. Its stupid little pieces of plastic for babies.

And I wake up today and I get negged on Amazon, and I ALWAYS get postive because I communicate well and quickly with my customers. Hell if there is a super huge delay for some reason in shipping I kick in something extra or upgrade shipping. If somethng got lost inspite of carefully shipping/packing practices I replace whenever possible and kick in extras. I really love this collectibles selling. "Cause I know the inventory is going to good homes as alot of it is coming from my families' personal collection.

But no, some fuckin' people no matter how gracious or apologetic, no matter the lengths you go through they shit all over you because they're douches that way. So I negged them right back. If I get a 5 they get a 5, hell if I get a 4 they get a 5. But when I get a 1 after kicking my ass to find their item at the post office and then refund in full. Well fuck them.

This is not "customer is always right" America anymore, its capitalism, baby. Check all my other feedback. Talk to my previous customers. I take good care of my customers. If I screw up I take my licks and I make it up to the best of my ability. But a 1 over a 9 dollar baby toy that was out of my hands. That just pisses me off. A fuckin' peg warmer toy.

ARGGGGGGGGGGH!

Ah well inspite of that I made 4 sales today, all of them AFTER the negative feedback processed. So I know its only gonna deter SOME people that only glance at feedback. The rest are gonna want my deals as I'm the cheapest damn prices on Amazon. Guaranteed.

As you know Deadpool and Warbird are my Marvel Ultimate Alliance Team, as noted in a previous blog (I already have an Invisible Woman and Spider-Man so I'm set baby), so I'm just happy to complete my team in figure form. Batgirl I got in a trade for my Mint In Package Marvel Legends chase figure Red Skull for a cool collecting couple's DCSH Batgirl, Clayface, and Catwoman. (Traded on Figure Realm forums)

Warbird was traded for on The Fwoosh for 2 Marvel Twist 'Ems wind up toys of Captain American and Iron Man.

And Dead Pool was a trade done for my old Halo 2 Teal Spartan and a whole mess of accessories. I didn't get the alternate Wade head but I wasn't too interested in that. ALthough Doop woulda been nice. I should specified, my bad. Ya live and learn.

Okay so I just got ahold of a copy of Typing of the Dead, and BOY have I learned I rely way too damn much on Firefox, Gmail, and MS-Word's auto-spellcheckers. I can't type worth crap anymore.

I remember back when I interned during high school as a clerk at the Texas Office of the Attorney General, Child Support Division, I could type 50+ wpm with NO ERRORS. Man I got wailed on by fricken zombies left and right and ITS ONLY BEEN A DECADE SINCE MY FIRST JOB!

Instead of some boring ass "our site is down here are the upcoming features" crap, they did do that BUT they had some hellaciously funny person write some funny and insane stuff on the descriptions of each feature. Not all of it is comedic gold but it really perked me up to see someone put some solid effort into making something that shoulda been dead-boring into something humorous. Sadly I'm sure only a few people will take the time to read this bit of wonderment, but I'm glad I did.

What's the deal with couples doing random crap together? All this outdoorsy crap like bike riding? Hiking? Camping? Foreign Film Festivals?

Seriously, all this healthy activities just start being done because they're "with someone". Its like they have a reason to live, a reason to be more active and thus healthy. Its all crap they never did when they were single. So what's the deal?

You ask someone who was currently single to do something and wham! They're off with you on your crazy Quixotic adventure to blockbuster. Now they are unsingle and you ask them the same question and they're off doing pottery or goin' to Starbucks for, get this, the "atmosphere".

This is some sick shit.

And I mean it. Why can't anyone be in a relationship where they are doing sane/normal things together. Why can't you sit and watch tv together? Why can't they read books in the same room then discuss when they hit interesting points. WHY CAN'T THEY FUCKIN' STAY INDOORS?

If they want to be sweaty they can workout together or fornicate. Noooooooo... somehow sunlight and "fresh air" have to make an appearance. *shakes fist at nature*

Nowhere in the bible does God scorn air conditioning. Maybe in some kinda pagan scroll somewhere but not my good ol' written by Jesus' Pals New Testament did my saviour ever spake against the ill-bodings of fluorescent lighting.

I mean seriously people, just because they do that crap in books and movies doesn't mean you HAVE to go to an alternative art gallery and pretend to understand what the hell is going on. Yes, its elephant feces and cut outs of women's butts accenting a terrible artist rendering of the Virgin Mary. No, you do not have to pretend to like it or get it. And, of course, you know and we know its poop and magazine cut outs adorning half-assed "artwork" that woulda gotten you detention and your parents called-in during high school.

So please people, do not put yourselves in some little stereotypical relationship box. You will eventually come to hate either yourself or your partner trying to emulate a scripted/directed moment captured on celluloid.

I'm bored, and haven't blogged in forever due to family/life issues. I feel like Sisyphus workin' on the family truck for the last few months. Something else ALWAYS goes wrong and I gotta miss class or sleep to repair it.

Spring Break/Easter was hit or miss simply on the fact WHY THE CRAP IS EASTER IN MARCH? Whatever happened to first Sunday of April? I blame the farmers... stupid moo-cows. With the methane ozone destroying farts. I WANT MY CRYING INDIAN BACK!

Marvel Ultimate Alliance

So its Spring Break for me until March 25th and so I'm making wonderful use of time getting caught up with my reading for Brit Lit, working on my Dad's truck that I do not get to ride nor drive, and also I get to play the shit out my birthday gift Marvel Ultimate Alliance for the PS2.

I love it. I love it so much I get half a chubby thinking about my team.

Oh yes, my team:

My core members of my team, dubbed Onyx Ops, are Ms. Marvel aka Carol Danvers, Spider-Man aka Ben Reilly, Invisible Woman aka Dr. Susan Richards, and of course Deadpool aka Wade T. Wilson.

Ms. Marvel's costume of choice is the Binary suit, Spidey's is The Scarlet Spider costume, Invisible Woman's is her classic duds, and Deadpool is gussied up as Ultimate Deadpool.

Together they make up my ultimate core team, which occasional swaps for Spider-Woman and Luke Cage. Marvel Ultimate Alliance is damn addictive, I don't actually turn off the PS2 I just switch off the screen while the game is paused. I've already beaten the game on Easy just yesterday and am not to the second mission under Normal with my favorite costumes and characters after using Easy mode to get a feel for the game and tactics.

Scarlet and Deadpool are my ranged attackers using Web Bullets and Dual Pistols to mow through large foes, while Invisible Woman is my Shield/Boss Slayer, with Ms. Marvel on Crowd Control. So far only 1 set of knockouts, Ms. Marvel and Invisible Woman were taken out during the Fin Fang Foom battle on the SHEILD Helicarrier because I was too busy swigging a diet rootbeer than to activate their buffs in time. Ah well, DP and Scarlet are there for a reason.

Anywho I love this game, heard there is a sequel coming so I'm super psyched.
